Victim Advocacy
First Step provides crisis counseling, safety planning, and support services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. The advocate will assist with: police reports, personal protection orders, explaining the court process, accompanying victims to court as well as linking victims to other free First Step services including safe shelter, counseling for both adults and children for domestic and sexual violence, and a host of other services.
