Coming Soon! Westland's 1st Dog Park

Westland Rotary Canine Corral

Funding for the proposed project will be provided through the Parks and Recreation Department Capital Improvement Budget for fiscal year 2022-2023.

The Dog Park will feature a dog water station and perimeter fence to keep both dogs and residents safe. The off-leash dog park, located just west of the Recycling Center at 37137 Marquette, will also feature a half acre for small dogs and a full acre for large dogs to play. Both areas will have agility courses for dogs to play. There will be benches throughout the park for visitors to relax and security for all those who utilize it.   Mayor William R. Wild stated “The All-American City looks forward to offering this great new amenity to the Westland residents and their special four-legged friends as well!"
