The Remembrance Walk will start at Westland City Hall follow Central City Parkway to Nankin Blvd., down Nankin Blvd. to Warren Rd., and then back to Westland City Hall.
The Remembrance Ceremony will be hosted at Westland City Hall in the Gene McKinney Ballrooms with light refreshments served in the Gallery at City Hall right after the finish of the Remembrance Walk.
Past ceremonies have hosted notable keynote speakers like, Fox News anchor Huel Perkins, WDIV meteorologist and reporter Andrew Humphrey, Suffragan Bishop Luke McClendon, and Appeals Court Justice Cynthia Diane Stephens among others.
The Remembrance Ceremony also includes messages from Local, State, and Federal officials including Michigan Governor, Gretchen Whitmer and our own Mayor William R. Wild.
