Senior Programs & Services
The Senior Resource Department provides a number of programs that help provide basic services for older adults in our community. These programs are based out of the Friendship Center. Information for each program is available below or at the front desk. Check back often as new programs are made available regularly.

Daily Congregate Meals
For adults who enjoy sharing meal time, we offer a congregate meal at the center daily. The meals are prepared by qualified culinary professionals. On occasion, the meal site manager adds a special surprise. Lunches are served daily 11:30 am. If seniors do not make a reservation, and they wish to have a lunch, they can go on stand-by. Meals will be provided for stand-by seniors based on supply of extra meals.
Reservation Phone Line (call the business day before to reserve).
Meals on Wheels
For our adults in the community that can no longer get out, live alone, are unable to prepare meals for various reasons including temporary such as recovering from a surgery, we offer home bound meals. The Meals on Wheels program provides a nutritious hot meal daily (Monday through Friday) to homebound seniors. Meals can be delivered on a continuous basis or temporarily.
Educational Seminars
The Friendship Center works closely with surrounding businesses, organizations, and individuals that specialize in services relating to the older adult. Informational or educational seminars focusing on topics such as: Medicare Part "D", the conversion of televisions from analog to digital, managing diabetes, and a variety of special interest topics, helps to keep older adults up to date on ever changing issues.
