MISSING PERSON

       



Attempt to locate Missing for OIC Sgt. Norman Brooks:
 
        On February 11th 2013 Christina Balog (43 years old) walked away from her home on Garden street and has not been seen since that date.  Ms. Balog is both bi-polar and suffers from multiple personality disorder.  She was last seen wearing a black coat, green shirt and black jeans.  If located contact the Westland Police Department.        




Attempt to identify larceny suspects for OIC Sgt. Randall Thivierge:

    
 These images are from Lowe's.  The unknown subjects are
responsible for numerous retail frauds all over Michigan. 
The two males will enter the store,
proceed directly to the tool area where they will select Dewalt
Power Tools and then exit the store, without paying, to a
waiting vehicle which is driven by a third unknown subject. 
The subjects have stolen over $35,000 worth of merchandise since
December, 2012.  This case is being actively investigated by
agencies in multiple cities and multiple counties.













Attempt to identify home invasion suspect for OIC Sgt. David Dinsmore:
 
       January 16th 2013 the subject attempted a home invasion in the 35000 block of Avondale St.










Attempt to identify larceny of trailer suspect for OIC Sgt. Matthew Price:
 
       On January 18th 2013, a Chevy truck, with a cap, entered the lot of a Westland business, backed up to a trailer and proceeded to leave with it.  It is believed that the suspect is a "scrapper" and used it to remove metal items from other locations for their scrap value.

WANTED FOR CRIMINAL SEXUAL CONDUCT INVOLVING A MINOR

 

During the afternoon hours of 07/03/07, a white male took a nine year old girl into a wooded area of Venoy Dorsey Park and sexually molested her.  The man had befriended the little girl’s grandfather about six weeks before this incident.  The man told the little girl and her grandfather that his name is “Richard”.  They further describe him as a white male, 45-55 years old, around six feet tall with a stocky build, and potbelly.  He is balding, with light color, short hair, on the sides of his head.  He frequently wears either a dark colored baseball hat with a white “D” on the front, or a tan camouflage cap.  He rides a red bicycle with white lettering on the handle bars.  This man is known to frequent area parks and school playgrounds.  If you have any information on this man please call Westland Police at 734-721-6311, reference case number 07-6888.

CARJACKING, ELOISE PROPERTY SOUTH OF MICHIGAN AND WEST OF HENRY RUFF, 7/20/07 at 6:55 PM.

 

Suspect: W/M 25 - 35 years of age, about 5'8", 140, unknown hair & eye color, smooth complexion, no facial hair noticed. Armed with hunting type knife with approximately 6" blade.

Suspect was wearing blue jeans & a gray long sleeve shirt, unk type.

Suspect approached 78 year old female victim as she tended a garden on Wayne County property. Suspect chased the victim, threatened her with the knife & took the keys to her car. He then stole her 2001 Buick Century four door, maroon in color, Michigan handicap license plate B0241. Suspect was spotted by Dearborn Heights police who pursued the car south on Inkster to 1-94 and then east to Telegraph where the pursuit was terminated.

Victim's purse was in the trunk of the car.
