Where should I place my recycling cart to ensure it's picked up?

On your recycling pick-up day, please place your cart 4ft away from the curb, cars and other items, with the handle facing your house.

When do I put my recycling cart out to be picked up?

Your recycling cart will be picked up, every other week, on your regularly scheduled trash day. 

How do I know which week I should put my recycling cart out to be picked up?

Please click on the Recycling Map above for your recycle week.  Once you know your week, click on the Recycling Collection Calendar to see what weeks you are scheduled for.

 

What can I put in my recycling cart?

 DO NOT INCLUDE: Medical Waste (needles and syringes), Paper Milk Cartons, Paper Juice Cartons, Styrofoam, Garbage, Propane Tanks, Paint Cans, Flammable Liquids, Household Cleaners, Chemicals (dry or liquid), Wood Items, Concrete, Garden Hoses, Electrical Cords, Household Batteries (including camera, hearing aid, lithium and watch batteries)

Do I need a different recycling cart for each type of recyclable material?

No. This unique program means no more sorting is needed!
